Mrs. Blanche Elmore Blaylock, 72, died Saturday, January 22, 1977 at Winona Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Blaylock was the widow of the late James Leslie Blaylock and a member of Hayes Creek Baptist Church. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. John Kerr of Winona; one son, James Edward Blaylock of Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Scott Rodgers and Mrs. Fred Locke, both of Winona; one brother, Cecil Elmore of Winona; also 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. W. M. Hull assisted by Rev. L. C. Kitchens at Oliver Chapel at 2 P.M. Monday, January 24. Burial was in New Hope Cemetery with Oliver Funeral Home in charge.
Pallbearers were Herbert Blaylock, Charles Orsborne, Wayne Butler, Billy Costilow, Jimmy Costilow and Robert Shaw.
