FREDDIE BEA CARLSON
Mrs. Freddie Bea Carlson, 67, 1302 Elm St., died at 7:01 p.m. Sunday, Aug.26 at Baxter Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
She was born on Oct. 17, 1911, in Galena. She returned to Galena 11 years ago from Kansas City, Mo.
She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Sam Brooks, Hermiston, Ore.; one daughter, Mrs. Claudine Coyle, Columbus, Kan.; two brothers, Dan Martin, Baxter Springs, Jeff Martin, Ogden, Utah; two sisters, Mrs. Raye Asbelle, Hermiston, Ore., Mrs. Ruby Jo Johnston, Los Angeles, Calif., and five grandchildren.
Funeral services were under direction of Derfelt Funeral Home, Galena.
Services for Mrs. Carlson will be Wednesday (today) Aug. 29, 1979, at the Derfelt Chapel, Galena.
Dr. Gerald Kellar and the Rev. Burton Greenwood will officiate.
Burial will be in the Galena Cemetery.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers.
Eastern Star rites were conducted Tuesday evening.
