Funeral Services for Meredith McCulloch, age 91, of Shallowater, Texas and formerly of Morton, Texas, will be held Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Morton, Texas with Brother Rush Coffman officiating. Interment will follow at Morton Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Ellis Funeral Homes.
Meredith died Wednesday, February 3, 2021 in Shallowater. She was born January 7, 1930 in Martin County, Texas to Irvin and Ida (Walker) Myrick. She married Bill Crone in Martin County on January 7, 1949. After he passed away, Meredith married Wesley McCulloch in Shallowater in September of 2002.
Visitation will be held Monday, February 8, 2021 from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm at Ellis Funeral Home in Morton, Texas.
Meredith was an avide Baylor Bear basketball fan. She loved her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. She enjoyed reading and camping. Meredith loved attending and supporting Paisano Baptist Encampment in Alpine, Texas. She was a past member of the First United Methodist Church in Lockney, Texas and the First Baptist Church in Morton. Meredith was a current member of the First Baptist Church in Shallowater. She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her husband, Wesley; a son, Greg Crone; her parents; and two brothers, Jim Myrick and Reggie Myrick.
Meredith is survived by her two daughters, Melody Crone of Seattle, Washington and Sharon Clements and her husband, Doug of Shallowater, Texas; her brother, Rodney Myrick of Lampases, Texas; her four grandchildren, Whitney Clements, Tanya Phillips, Cheyenne Bilberry and Dee Clements; and four great-grandchildren, Tyler Phillips, Timberlyn Philips, Gentry Bilberry and Cooper Bilberry.
