Gabrilla was the daughter of South Bend judge, farmer and miller William C. McCartney and his wife Margery. She was the second wife of Harrison Marion Crockett, marrying him on 14 Dec 1848 in South Bend. She was the mother of John, Mattie M., and Benjamin F. Crockett.
