Mrs. Lela E. Bridges

Mr. Lela Elizabeth Bridges died Friday afternoon In King's Daughters Hospital. She was 86, and a resident of Route 1, Anguilla.

She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. A. L. Chapman of Yazoo, Mrs. Chester Adams of Cypress, Tx., Mrs. William Evans of Houston. Tx., Mrs. Thelma Robbins of New Hebron, Mrs. Arlis Morgan of Ritchland, four sons, William P. Bridges of Flora, Kermit H. Bridges of Flora, Rufus E. Bridges of Anguilla, and Delma Bridges of Bentonia; 13 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, and one brother, Clarence Chesteen of French Camp.

Funeral services are 2 pm today from Poplar Creek Baptist Church In Kilmichael with interment in the church cemetery, with Elder Lamar Wilkinson and Elder Steve Wilkinson officiating

Pallbearers will be her grandsons.

Stricklin-King Funeral Home was In charge of arrangements.
