Mrs. Emma Bingham

Last rites for Mrs. Emma Bingham, 87, were held at Nations Church on March 21 at 2 o'clock. The Rev. J.M. Palmertree conducted the services. Interment was in church cem. with Lee Funeral home in charge of arrangement.

The following friends served as pallbearers: Ralph Malone, Clayton Henley, Thomas Burt, Homer Rosamond, Virgil Rosamond & Hugh Chesteen.

Mrs. Bingham was a member of the Primitive Bapt. Church and had lived most of her life in Montgomery Co. She passed away at the Kings Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City on March 20.

Mrs. Bingham is survived by three daughters Mrs. Ella Rosamond, Batesville; Mrs. Edna Malone, Kilmichael; and Mrs. Lela Bridges, Louise; three sons, Everett Burt, Batesville; D.C. and T.L. Chesteen, both of Kilmichael; two step-sons, Charley and Jack Chesteen, both of Kilmichael and one brother, Nat Skinner, Jacksonville, Texas.

Mrs. Emma Bingham

Mrs. Emma Bingham was laide to rest at Nations last Tues. afternoon after a long illness. She was the widow of the last S.W. Bingham who was a resident of this community in the years gone by.

She made her home with dau., Mrs. Edna Malone. She also lived to a ripe old age, being 88 yrs. old. She was the step mother of Mrs. Caloway Palmertree.

Frances Emma first married Jeff Burt in 1886.

Her second marriage was to Charles Hudson Chesteen in 1891.

After his death in 1916, Frances Emma married a Bingham in 1920.
