Services for Floyd Garrett, who died at the Southern Hospital in New Orleans on April 24th following a three months' illness, were conducted at Nations Poplar Creek Church on Wednesday afternoon, April 25, at two o'clock by the Rev. N. H. Roberts of Canton. Burial in Poplar Creek Cemetery was under the direction of Oliver Funeral Home.
Mr. Garrett was born in Kilmichael in 1909.
He is survived by his father, Frank M. Garrett and stepmother, Mrs. Maggie Garrett of Kilmichael; one sister, Mrs. John A. Hudson, Cleveland and two brothers, Bryant Garrett and T. F. Garrett, both of Greenwood.
