Homemaker was Pillsbury Bake Off finalist
Marie B. Eckroth, 82, of Orangeville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 27, 2020, at the Gardens of Orangeville. She was born Jan. 5, 1938, in Bloomsburg, a daughter of the late Donald and Zela (Bardo) Black.
She was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. She loved to cook and bake and was a finalist in the 15th Pillsbury Bake Off in 1963 with her Rhubarb Dessert Dumplings recipe.
Marie is survived by her daughters: Deborah and husband, Kendall Phinney, Kim and husband, Mitch Radulovich; brother, Robert D. Black Sr., and wife, Elaine; grandsons: Jason Radulovich and Justin Radulovich.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband, Theodore H. Eckroth; and her sister, E. Darlene Martenas.
