Born on April 21, 1880 she was the daughter of John Engle and Barbara Putt Engle

Elvina Engle married Benjamin on July 24, 1897 in St Daniel's Evangelical Lutheran Church

They worshipped in the Lutheran faith at St. Daniel's Evangelical Lutheran Church (Comer Church) on Church St. at Robesonia, PA.

Elvina spent her time taking care of her home and her eleven children.

Every year at Easter and Christmas Elvina and Benj had their ten surviving children and their families home for a holiday gathering, which was a wonderful array of food, singing, with Oscar's Peg at the piano and their daughter Dorothy on the accordion and son George on the violin, and many wonderful family memories were made.

Elvina died Feb 22, 1965 at the Lebanon Sanitarium of colon cancer.

They had eleven children, Oscar Edwin, Mary Magdaline, Charles Samuel, Benjamin Henry, Albert Franklin, Annie Elizabeth, Ralph Emanuel, Luke Daniel, George Adam, Warren Ellsworth, Walter Jacob
