Novialyn Alford 72, of New Carlisle, Ohio passed away Friday May 4, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born August 7, 1934 in St. Joseph, Missouri the daughter of the late Joe & Novena (Doak) Creekmore. She was an active member of the Dayton Women's Club, New Carlisle Sertoma, Relay for Life, among various other organizations. She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Henderson of Sparta, Kentucky; two granddaughters, Cathy Ward and Holly Johnson both of Springboro, Ohio; two great grandsons, Samuel Anderson and Lucas Johnson; two brothers, Robert & Beverly Creekmore of Missouri, Donny Creekmore of New Mexico; many special friends. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Alford. A gathering of family and friends will be 5-8 p.m. Monday May 7, 2007 at the TROSTEL, CHAPMAN, DUNBAR & FRALEY FUNERAL HOME, New Carlisle, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Randy Warner officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
