Sarah Marie Heath Warren, 88, passed away on October 29, 2020 at her home in Venus, Texas. She was born on February 21, 1932 in San Saba, Texas to George and Sarah ([Peterson) Heath.

Sarah grew up in Lampasas, Texas. She graduated from Lampasas High School in Lampasas, Texas in 1950. She became very involved in church by teaching elementary age children until she was unable to do it anymore because of her illness of dementia.

Sarah married Billy Warren in 1952. They were happily married for 50 years. Sarah was a member of First Baptist Venus. She enjoyed playing with kids, quilting and playing dominoes.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Warren; parents, George and Sarah Heath; sisters, Dorothy James, Susie Martin, Mary Heath; brothers, Dan Heath, Charlie Heath and John Heath; children, Dottie Pinkston, Eddie Warren and Leslie Warren.

Sarah is survived by her son Billy, (Jo) Warren of Fort Worth, Texas; daughter, Martha Jones of Weatherford, Texas; her sister, Faye Miller of Venus, Texas; her brother, Bob Heath of Fort Worth, Texas; 7 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and many great, great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Patrica & Kelly Warren for their loving extended watch care over Sarah during her final years, Aleve Hospice Care & Emerald Hills Funeral Home.

One of Sarah’s favorite Bible verses that she quoted to family often was Psalm 23.

We will miss you mom and are looking forward to the day when we shall see you with Jesus.
