EDGERTON—Mrs. Howard Petersen, 65, of Highwood Subdivision, Rt. 3, Edgerton, died this morning in Memorial Community Hospital after a long illness. Hazel Johnson was born in Chicago Sept. 3, 1903, and was married there Aug. 19, 1921, to Howard Petersen. She was employed as a clerk and later in the ice cream division of Bordon Dairy until coming to this area 14 years ago. Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Edward Kures, Edgerton, Mrs. Robert Anderson, Norridge, Ill., and Mrs. William Mormann, Peoria, Ill.: seven grandchildren; a great - grandchild; three brothers, Earl Johnson, Riverside, Ill., Carl, LaFayette, Ind., and Charles, Franklin Park, Ill. Burial in Fassett Cemetery.
