PEKIN, IL - Shirley M. Mormann, 87, of Pekin, formerly of Chicago, died at 10:16 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011, at Pekin Hospital.
Shirley was born Jan. 15, 1924, in Oak Park, Ill., to Howard M. and Hazel M. (Johnson) Petersen. She married William A. Mormann on Nov. 24, 1945. He preceded her in death on Dec. 4, 1990.
Her parents and two sisters, Doris (Susie) Anderson and Eileen (Lee) Henning, preceded her in death.
Surviving are two children, Sue (Jim) Green of Varna, Ill., and Paul (Nancy) Mormann of Morton, Ill.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Shirley worked at Continental Bank in Chicago and University National Bank in Peoria, having retired in 1989.
Cremation rites have been accorded.
