Harold "Harry" G. Cain age 75 of Oshkosh died unexpectedly at his residence on Sunday afternoon June 1, 2003.

Harold was born in St. Anne, WI on February 3, 1928 the son of Patrick and Martha (Farrell) Cain. He married Audrey Juedes on September 20, 1952 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Oshkosh, WI.

Harold was a faithful member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Oshkosh. He was employed at WI Public Service for 37 years he was a member of the Quarter Century, and retirees club. Involved at the YMCA in Boy Scouts, past member of the Full Gospel Businessman's Fellowship.

He served his Country in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1945 to 1949. Member of the Cook Fuller American Legion Post of Oshkosh. Harold was very active in the Prison Ministry and was the volunteer of the year. He was also active in the support group since March 17, 1970. Harold was a special friend to many people through the years and will always be in their hearts.

Harold is survived by his wife Audrey Cain, one daughter Debbie (Mike) Reichard, two sons Paul Cain and (Martha Last), and Pat Cain and (Shannon) all of Oshkosh, WI. Brothers and Sisters John (Delores) Cain of Elkart Lake, WI. Lois Steber of Green Bay, WI, Pat (Patti) Cain of Illinois, and Rosanne (Al) Winkel of Kiel, WI. One grandson (name omitted by contributor). Many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Francis and Leo Cain.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday June 4, 2003 at 3 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church 442 Monroe Street in Oshkosh. The Rev. Father Robert Stegmann and Sister Judith Miller will officiate. Family and friends may gather at St. Mary's Catholic Church on Wed June 4, 2003 from noon until the hour of Mass. Private Committal Services will be held at Riverside Cemetery. A memorial fund has been established in Harold's name.
