"Clinton, June 1. --- The remains of Fanny Barker, widow of William Lapham, formerly of Utica, reached Clinton yesterday from her late home in the west, where she died suddenly a few days ago. Services were held in the chapel at the cemetery and the remains interred in Sunset [sic] Hill Cemetery. The deceased was a sister of the late Edward Barker of this place and for many years resided in Utica where her husband, William Lapham, was engaged in the ice cream business."
