She was born on April 12, 1921 in Cessna, Bedford County, a daughter of the late George Lester and Mary Elizabeth Hoagland Fetter.
She was married in the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church on June 15, 1947 to William Waller Glover, who entered into rest on May 13, 2000.
Betty was a graduate of the East Clair High School, Class of 1939, and a graduate of the York Business College, York.
She was a secretary at the former Huntingdon Throwing Mills, Mifflinburg, following her graduation from Business College until the time of her marriage in 1947.
She served as an assistant librarian at the Herr Memorial Library, Mifflinburg for many years.
She was an active member of the Mifflinburg United Methodist Church, and in earlier life was very active in many church organizations. She also served as a Sunday school teacher at the church Sunday school. She was a former member of the Mifflinburg Athenaeum Club.
Betty is survived by the following siblings and their spouses: Dale R. and Dorothy L. Fetter, Bedford, Paul W. and Janet M. Fetter, Bedford, Ira H. Fetter, Fishertown, Eugene A. and Ruth M. Fetter, New Paris, Russel C. and Marian J. Fetter, Martinsburg, Alice M. and Charles L. Miller, Bedford, Evelyn L. Wilkins, Manns Choice, and Shirley M. and Ronald W. Ketterman, Bedford. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Carl George Fetter, and by two sisters, Myrtle May Reisling and Ruth Dorothy Norris.
