I started building my family tree on Ancestry in 2011 and Find A Grave was a great resource during this time. I grew up in Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania. My mom's side of the family is all Snyder County and traces back to the original settlers of Selinsgrove and Kratzerville. Her branches intertwine with many families. My focus is Snyder County families and cemeteries and parts of Union County. I am currently photographing every stone (that I can figure out) in a cemetery so that no one gets missed. In many cemeteries there are stones that are missing, broken, blackened or no longer legible and are lost to time.
