IRVING - Chester E. Evans, 82, formerly of Waggoner, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Irving.
He is survived by a brother, Cecil, of Atwater; five sons, Floyd, Robert, Richard, Allen and Charles; two daughters, Mrs. Clara Scurlock and Mrs. Wanda Fawns; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were at the Wiese-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville with burial in Mayfield Cemetery in Carlinville.
