LITCHFIELD - Cecil I. Evans, 82, of Litchfield, formerly of Carlinville, died at 8:25 p.m. Sunday in Turtle Creek Convalescent Center, Litchfield.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle; one daughter, Mrs. Bernard (Geraldine) Painter, of Litchfield; three sons, Clarence, of Omaha, Neb.; Clifford Wayne, of Hillsboro; Charles Allen, of Tempe, Ariz.; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Services were at Wiese-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville.

Burial was in Mayfield Memorial Cemetery.
