She is the daughter of Jesse Edwin Abel and Sally Odella Barnes.

She married Jerry Wayne Moore on June 8, 1952 in Earlsboro, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma.

1959 City Directory: She was living at 2210 E Eucalyptus Avenue in Enid, Oklahoma with her husband.
1993 Public Records: She was living at 11 Limousin Lane in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

The following information was already on her memorial when I got ownership:

Longtime Shawnee resident Maxine Abel Moore, 65, died Monday in a local hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Fairview Baptist Church with the Rev. Chuck Utsler officiating, assisted by the Rev. Richards Stillwell. Burial will be at Little Cemetery under the direction of Roesch-Walker Funeral Chapel.

Maxine Abel was born Aug. 12, 1933, in Seminole County, the daughter of Jesse and Della (Barnes) Abel. She attended Prairie Valley Schools and had lived in the Shawnee area most of her life.

She married Jerry W. Moore on June 8, 1952, at Fairview Baptist Church of Earlsboro. She retired as a bank teller after more than 30 years of service. She was a member of Fairview Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; a sister, Betty Yvonne Abel; brother, Adrian Abel; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest and Elsie Moore, and sister-in-law, Corrine Woody.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry Moore, of the home; daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Micheal Odom, Kathy and Gale Shropshire, all of Shawnee; Sue and Brad Moore, Dallas, Texas; Lisa and Stormy Sims, Norman; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers and sisters-in-law, O.K. and Wanda Abel, Shawnee; Jesse and Leta Abel, Odessa, Texas; Nadine Abel, Shawnee; brother-in-law, Don Woody, Snyder, and many other relatives.
