Mrs. Andrea "Dale" Menard Landry
Carencro, Louisiana
Funeral services will be held at a 2 p.m. Mass Monday February 27, 1995 at Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Mrs. Andrea "Dale" Landry of Vatican, 64 the former Andrea Menard, who died at 11:32 p.m. Friday, February 24, 1995 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette.

Burial will be in the Evangeline Memorial Garden Cemetery.

The Msgr. Charles Mallet, Pastor, of St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton will officiate. Musical selections will be provided by Tony Broussard. These Songs are; "Just A Closer Walk With Thee," "Wind Beneath My Wings," "Isaiah 49," "You Are Near," and "How Great Thou Art."

She was a native of Cankton and a resident of Vatican for most of her life. Mrs. Landry was a parishioner of St. John Berchman Catholic Church in Cankton.

Survivors include: her husband, Albert John "Potat" Landry, Sr. of Vatican; three sons, Harry Lee Bernard, Sr. and Steve Landry both of Vatican, and John Albert Landry, Jr. of Carencro; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Overland (Azalie) Jacqueneaux of Carencro and Mrs. Erfy (Rita) Leger of Church Point.

She was preceded in death by a son, Russell Bernard; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jules Menard, her mother, the former Elodie Maertin, both natiaves of Cankton; four brothers, Sosthene, Leeza, Dupree and Charles Menard, and three sisters, Mrs. Raoul (Emily) Cormier, Mrs. Leo (Eucharite) Leger and Mrs. Alcide (Elvize) Cormier.

Pallbearers are: Steve Landry, John Albert Landry, Jr., Harry Lee Bernard Jr., Malcolm Leger, Kearney Leger, and Harold Jacquneaux, Honorary Pallbearers are: Harry Lee Bernard Sr., Aurelie Jacquneaux, and Nelson Joseph Landry.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday (February 26, 1995).

Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Cemetery Chapel, 4117 St. Joseph Street in Carencro is in charge of arrangements.
