HUMES- September 5, 1949 at St. Joeseph's hospital, Donald LeRoy Humes of 1415 East thirty-second, Vancouver, Wa., aged 14 years. Son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Humes of Vancouver; brother of Mrs. Paul Krauss of Clarion, Pennsylvania; Walter J. Jr., of Vancouver; Leo L., Leon and Glen Humes, all at home; and Leslie Humes, serving in the U. S. Navy; grandson of Mrs. Cora Thompson of Vancouver.
Donald had lived in Vancouver for the past seven years and attended Hough and Washington grade schools. Prior to coming to Vancouver he had lived at Sawyer, N. D. Member of St. Paul's Lutheran church of Vancouver.
The remains have been entrusted to the care of the Vancouver funeral chapel. Funeral sevices will be held on Friday, September 9 at 1:00 p.m. at the Vancouver Funeral Chapel. Rev. Paul L. Kunzman will officiate and vault interment will be in Park Hill cemetery.
