Graveside services for Evalene Nichols Kolb of Deer Park and formerly of Elkhart will be at Pilgrim Cemetery.
She was born to I.J. Nichols and Evelyn Murdock Nichols.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Elkhart and the Eastern Star. Mrs. Kolb served 35 years as Vice President of First Republic Bank Ea Houston. Her hobbies included bird watching, shopping, traveling, loving her cat "Bella Jane" and her two dogs; she enjoyed watching wildlife, cruising, spending time with her grandchildren, outdoors, reading her newspaper and listening to praise and worship music.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Alpha Adolph Kolb; a daughter Alpha Eileen Hall; sister Sandra Coleman and Brother, Marlan Nichols.
She is survived by her sister, Shirley Deason and husband Freddy of Grapeland; brother, Carol Nichols and wife Patsy; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
