Margie Atkins McKnight

Mrs. Margie Atkins McKnight, 83, of Winona, died of heart failure Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital in Winona.

Mrs. McKnight, a retired food service supervisor for Winona Manor Nursing Home, was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John B. Atkins.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Oliver Chapel with the Rev. John L. Walker officiating. Burial was in Nations Poplar Creek Cemetery near Kilmichael.

Mrs. McKnight is survived by three daughters, Carol Bachio. of Hennepin, Ill., Cindy McKnight of Stockton, Calif., Beth Austin of Winona; two sons, Woody McKnight of Ridgeland, Neal McKnight of Kansas City, Mo.; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Marvell Morgan, Joe Moore, Bo Surrell, Dave Billingsley, Bert Mitchell and Clifford Dance.

Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.

Oliver Funeral Home of Winona was in charge of arrangements.
