Douwina Van Dyke, 94, of Bozeman, Montana, passed away Jan. 17, 2017. She was born Jan. 30, 1922, to Menko and Anna (Danhof) Dykman in Anceney, Montana, where she grew up and attended grade school. Douwina also lived in Churchill and Bozeman, Montana, where she helped on the farm and enjoyed gardening.

She later married Neal Van Dyke on Nov. 20, 1941, in Churchill where they raised four children. Douwina delighted in being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was also a member of the Manhattan Christian Reformed Church.

Douwina was preceded in death by her husband, Neal; son, Nelson; son-in-law, Ron Winger; granddaughter, Meredith; and brothers, Joe, John and Menko.

Memorial services will be held Friday, Jan. 27th at 11 a.m. at Manhattan Christian Reformed Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Douwina’s name to the Manhattan Christian School Foundation, 8000 Churchill Rd., Manhattan, MT 59741.

Arrangements are in the care of Dokken-Nelson Funeral Service.
