RITES HELD HERE FOR BETTY CUNNINGHAM
Miss Betty Jo Cunningham, Broken Bow, died at Fort Supply Friday after she was 17 years old on Wednesday. She was born at DeKalb, Texas, September 11, 1929.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First Christian church with the Rev. W.W. Starnes, Idabel, officiating. Singers were Mrs. Opal Notley, Mrs. Clara Wallace, Mrs. Charley Burks, Mrs. Rex Chandler and
Mrs. H.C. Scarbrough, accompanied by Mrs. R.H. Sherrill.
Burial was in the Broken Bow cemetery under direction of Coffey funeral home. Bearers were Jim Gaddis, Guthrie Story, Leon Lacy, Johnnie Guess, Curley Anderson and Ben Leuty.
She is survived by four brothers, Homer Cunningham, Oregon; J.H. Cunningham, Ft. Smith; A.G. Cunningham, Broken Bow and J.W. Cunningham, Hope; one sister, Miss Virdella Cunningham; four half brothers, George Cunningham, Prescott; J.W. Cunningham, Hope; Garland Cunningham, Broken
Bow; and Robert Cunningham, Chicago; and two half sisters, Mrs. Shelby Story, Broken Bow and Mrs. Mary Bateman, Hugo.
