Funeral services for Ruth Etta Story, 77, widow of former Broken Bow mayor Shelby Story, will be held at 2 p.m. today in the Broken Bow First Baptist Church with W. W. Starnes officiating. Burial will be in Denison Cemetery with Norwood-Welch Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Story was born Feb. 9, 1901, in Indian Territory. She had lived here 48 years, coming from Hope, Ark., and was a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, India Rebecca Anderson of Broken Bow; a step-daughter, Nema Gene Addler of California; two brothers, Robert Cunningham of Broken Bow and Garland Cunningham of Oraville, Calif.; a sister, Mary Bateman of Hugo; a half-sister, Vedella Harmons of Oregon; a grandson, Tim Michael Anderson of Broken Bow; a step-grandson, Shelby Eugene Arbuckle of California.
