Born July 3, 1943 in Lehi, Utah to Alvin Owen and Vinnie Hacking Ault. He had many happy memories growing up in Cedar Fort, Utah. Leonard married his sweetheart, Judy Bryan, on September 30, 1966. They were later sealed in the Salt Lake City LDS temple May 28, 1980 and recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary September 30, 2016.

Leonard loved his family, especially his grandchildren, all animals, any kind of rock, racing cars and motorcycles, riding horses, being outdoors and in the mountains-particularly in Ophir Canyon, playing jokes and telling stories. He was a very kind, genuine, and compassionate man who always put others before himself and didn’t judge anyone. He made everyone feel special and always had a smile on his face.

Leonard is survived by wife Judy; children Monica (Eric) Godfrey, Shane (Shara) Ault, Wayne (Kenzie) Ault; brothers Louis and Leo Ault; grandchildren Ashley, Taylor, Tyler Godfrey; Nathan, Carly, Bryan Ault; Oakley, Caison, Ryker, Lexi Ault, Jaiden Swensen.

He is preceded in death by daughter Lynnita Ault; parents Alvin Owen (Hap) and Vinnie Hacking Ault; sister Virginia (Dean) Coleman; brother Howard (Lurae) Ault.

In keeping with Leonard's loving and generous spirit, he was an organ donor so others could have a better quality of life. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up a GoFundMe account to help Judy with both funeral expenses and incoming medical expenses.
