1880 and 1900 Baker, Georgia censuses say: He was a farmer. His wife was Antossee Caskie (born Dec 1837 GA), and his daughter was Sarah R. Caskie (born May 1877 GA). Confederate Pension Records say: He was a Private in H Co, 6th Regiment, Georgia, Colquitt's Brigade. Shot through the left knee March 1865, while fighting near Fort Fisher, Wilmington, NC. Captured in Bentonville, NC in 1865. Pension records say he died April 1917. Tombstone says he died 4 July 1918.
