"At the Exeter Hospital Saturday morning, Feb. 8, occurred the death of Pierre E. Bernier, well known resident of Exeter for 31 years.
Mr. Bernier was born at Cape St. Ignace, Quebec, son of Leon and Odele (Monseau) Bernier, and was aged 65 years, 2 months , 7 days. Before coming to Exeter he had lived in Tupper Lake N.Y. Surviving him are his widow, Mrs. Georgianna Bernier, two daughters and three sons.
The funeral was held at St. Michael's Church Tuesday morning, conducted by Rev. Daniel J. Cotter. The bearers were Messrs. Louis Camire. Jeremie Desroches, Amadee Fournier, Lazzare Pelletier and Joseph and Ralph Richard.
Burial was at Exeter Cemetery"
