Robert M. 'Bob' Dively
Aug. 30, 1923 - April 12, 2020

Robert M. "Bob" Dively, 96, Claysburg, passed away at his home on Sunday.

He was born in Claysburg, son of the late Irvin and Nettie (Lingenfelter) Dively. On Oct. 23, 1954, he married Lillian P. Herman.

Surviving are his wife; two sons: Joel L. and Jay A. Dively; six grandchildren: Joel R. Dively, Angel B. Dively, Jason and Robert Pagliaro, Janelle L. Edmundson and Jamie N. Vincent; seven great-grandchidlren: Trent Dively, Abigail Keller, Zachary Dively, Brooke and Trevor Edmundson, and Taylor and Braden Pagliaro; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers: Brady, Leslie, Melvin, Mearle and Wilmer; and five sisters: Grace Dively, Anna Black, Millie Daugherty, Thelma Albright and Dorothy Weyandt.

He served in the U.S. Army in Germany during WWII in the 510th Medical Division and achieved the rank of sergeant. Bob was employed by General Refractories Co.

Bob enjoyed gardening, puzzles, playing cards, going to auctions with his wife, Lil, hunting with family and Mearle, Darryle and Mike, and hunting mushrooms and ginseng.

A special thanks to Darvin and Bonnie Dively. Bob's family would also like to give a special thanks to his caregivers, hospice, UPMC Altoona, Hillview Rehabilitation Center and to Pam Mannochio and Deborah Dively.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place in Alto-Reste Park. Arrangements are by The Good Funeral Home Inc., Alto-Reste Park.
