William Albert "Bill" Glasscock was the son of Henry Franklin "Frank" Glasscock and Amanda Catherine "Mandy" Griffith. He was born on January 30, 1901 in Paragould, Arkansas.

Bill had 10 siblings: Belvy Leila Glasscock (West), Earl Smith Glasscock, Burley Green Glasscock, Robert Dolphus "Dolph" Glasscock, Minnie Mavis Glasscock (Jones), Henry Walter Glasscock, George Almus Glasscock and Mabel Eleanor Glasscock (both of whom died in infancy), Herman Otis "Lefty" Glasscock, and Ethel B. Glasscock (Shane).

On October 16, 1927, William Albert "Bill" Glasscock married Estelline Crowson in Stringtown, Oklahoma. Together, they had seven children: Dorothy V. Glasscock (Burns), Tommy Dwaine Glasscock (who preceded him in death), Gwyndean "Gwyn" Glasscock (Meaders), Wyna L. Glasscock (Grippardo), Bill Edd Glasscock, Ruth M. Glasscock (LaFevers), and Kay Glasscock (Horn, Cullifer).

Bill passed away at the age of 103 on April 1, 2004 at McAlester Regional Hospital in McLoud, Oklahoma. He was buried at Wesley Cemetery in Wesley where he and his wife, Estelline, share a headstone.
