Services Set for Mrs. Effie Yoder

A former Johnson County resident, Mrs. Effie A. Yoder, died in her home on Manilla Road in Shelby County, at 8 o'clock Monday Morning. She had been ill for three years and seriously ill for several weeks.

Funeral services will be conducted in the Carmony Funeral Home in Shelbyville Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The Rev. C. D. Gadbow, will be in charge of the services and burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburg.

Friends may call at the funeral home any time after noon Tuesday and are invited to attend the rites.

The daughter of the late Jesse Thatcher and Margaret Neville Coy, Mrs. Yoder was born Aug. 7, 1883, in Bartholomew County.

She became the bride of Leroy Yoder on June 15, 1910, and four children were born to them.

Mrs. Yoder had spent most of her life in the Camp Atterbury area and was a member of the old Salem Christian Church in the area.

Those who survive with the husband are four children, Mrs. Erma Richards, of Edinburg; Dilmer Yoder, of Franklin; Miss Ezella Yoder, at home, and Jesse Yoder, of Shelbyville.

Others remaining are four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Pearl Royce, of Franklin.
