Mr. May was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. To most all of his friends he was known as “Good ole Joe”.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Ora Shoemaker May; and seventeen siblings.
Survivors include one brother, Junior W. May of Clinton South Carolina; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
