Vivian Leigh Watkins, 72, died January 15, 2020 at Embrace Hospice House surrounded by her family. She was born January 12, 1948 in Welch, West Virginia to the late Luke Landers and the late Ethel Rife Landers.

Vivian was the Vice President of Signature Printing, Inc. She had many accomplishments to include being President of Infants Motivations Parents Group in Pennsylvania from 1974-1975, Office of Montgomery County Retarded Citizens Association from 1975-1979, President of Parents of Physically Handicap of Fairfax, Virginia from 1980-1984, and Founder of Fairfax County Therapeutic Advisory Council serving 28 years on the Board of Directors and serving two year terms as President. She also was awarded the recipient of volunteer award given by Fairfax County Board of Supervisors for years served, served 14 years on the Board of Directors for the Jewish Foundation of Group Homes where she also served on the Executive Committee approximately 6 years and 2 years as Officer. Vivian served as President of various golf associations in Virginia and attended Ocean View Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 50 years, Felix Scott Watkins of Myrtle Beach; Her daughter Jamie Patterson, her husband Jason Patterson, Granddaughter Molly Patterson, Grandson Garron Patterson of Whiteville, North Carolina; Sisters, Marie Landers, Jean Moore, Helen Landers; Brothers, David Landers, Brown Landers, Norman Landers.

She was preceded in death by her son Jeffrey Scott Watkins; Sisters, Vernie Landers, Myrtle Davis; Brothers, Tommy Landers, Corman Landers.

A chapel service will be held at Fairfax Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 10:00 am with the graveside service to follow at Fairfax Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to the Jewish Foundation for Group Homes or the Breast Cancer Society of America.
