Mrs. Luke Landers
Mrs. Luke Landers, 65, of Jolo died Tuesday in a Richlands, Va., hospital following a short illness.
A daughter of the late Granville and Cosby Rife, she was the former Ethel Rife.
Survivors are six daughters, Mrs. C. O. (Myrtle) Davis Jr., Mrs. Helen Drake, Mrs. Marvin (Jean) Moore and Miss Marie Landers of Cleveland, Ohio, Mrs. Vivian Lee Watkins of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and Mrs. Leonard (Vernie) Lester of Jolo; five sons, Corman, Robert, David, Norman, and Brown Landers of Cleveland; three sisters, Mrs. Russell Bates of Virginia Beach, Va., Mrs. Lee Stacy and Mrs. Dorothy Rife of Jolo; and two brothers, Bascom and Farrell Rife of Albany, Ohio; and 15 grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. at Bradshaw Methodist Church with Rev. Carl Kelly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Va.
The body will be taken to the home today at 4pm. from Fanning Funeral Home in Iaeger.
