He married his second wife Nancy Crawley Adamson Oct 26, 1884 at the bride's home Bowdon, Carroll County, GA. No known children were listed. Milton as mandated was a private serving in Captain John Witcher's Company, Mounted Volunteers, Paulding County, GA. He also served as a member of the 10th Georgia Cavalry State Guard during the Civil War.
