EDINBURGH
Glendon L. True of Edinburgh died this morning at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was 70.
The daughter of Harold and Ethel (Stucker) Wirey, she was born May 1, 1918, in Johnson County. She graduated from Edinburgh High School.
On Oct. 28, 1939, she married Elbert [Ebert] True. He died in 1988.
Surviving are a daughter, Rita Sizemore of Indianapolis; a sister, Jean McNurney of Indianapolis; and two grandchildren.
Mrs. True worked many years for Blue River Savings and Loan.
She was a member of Edinburgh First Christian Church, Edinburgh American Legion Auxiliary and Edinburgh Tri-Kappa.
A service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, Edinburgh, where friends may call Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery, Edinburgh.

Mrs. True was the daughter of Harold and Ethel Stucker Wirey and was born in Johnson County on May 1, 1918. She married Ebert True who preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Edinburgh First Christian Church, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Edinburgh Tri Kappa and had been employed at Blue River Federal Savings & Loan.
Mrs. True is survived by one daughter, Rita Sizemore of Indianapolis.
Services were held Friday, March 24, 1989 at the Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, with the Rev. Don Wiltfong officiating. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery.

Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery. Pallbearers were Joe Brown, Lewis Hemphill, Bud Long, Ralph Lemley, Jerry Cope, Jerry Ramey and Bill Petro.
