Opal Lucile Miller Funeral Friday
Funeral for Opal Lucile Miller, 74, of 10th Street, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday by Myers Funeral Service at Reed and Jewell Chapel, with the Rev. Theodore E. Cutrell and the Rev. Kenneth Vetters officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 11 a.m. to service time on Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to East Columbus United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
Mrs. Miller died at 12:53 a.m. Wednesday at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.
She was co-owner and secretary-treasurer for Miller's TV Sales and Service. The Millers owned the business for 35 years. She was a member of East Columbus United Methodist Church, Builders Class of the church, Columbus Chapter Order of Eastern Star and Business and Professional Women.
Born March 28, 1914, in Brown County, Mrs. Miller was the daughter of Charles and Henrietta Goetz Wirey. She was married to Arthur C. Miller on Nov. 26, 1931, at Franklin. He survives.
Also surviving are a son, Carl L. Miller of Columbus; a sister, Alta Edell Burton of Columbus; and granddaughters, Rhonda and Melissa Miller.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
