Janice Adams Nobles, 69, of Alamo, died on Monday, January 20, 2020 at her residence.

Janice was a member of Calvary’s Grace Baptist Church and retired as the Wheeler County Tax Commissioner.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Adams and Maggie Eva Mercer Adams.

Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Calvary’s Grace Baptist Church and interment will follow in the Grimes Cemetery. Pastor Brian Patrick will officiate.

Survivors include her husband, Freddie Nobles of Alamo; three children, Michael Hartley of Eastman, Angel (Ken) Ennis of Alamo, Tripp Nobles of McRae; four grandchildren, Wendy Johnson, Jennifer Schmitz, Amber Ledford, Alyssa Ledford; eight great-grandchildren; brothers and sister, Glenda Adams Cannon of Hazlehurst, Jimmy Adams of Lumber City, Ronnie Adams of Alston; special friend, Winifred Collins of Alamo.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 22nd from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Lowe's Funeral Home of Helena. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be given in her honor to Calvary’s Grace Baptist Church, 777 Highway 280, Ailey, Georgia 30410.
