He married Eleanor Cissell on 26-May-1817 at Holy Name of Mary church in Calvary, KY. Lived in the Rolling Fork community as an adult. He was the only KY Nally to acquire a state land warrant, which began his acquisition of many acres of land. He had the most acreage of the central Kentucky Nally families of the mid-1800s. His tomb is non-extant. The following source explains reasons why he can only be son of Barnabas: "Nally/Nalley - A Maryland Family" (Lulu.com, 2018, pp. 558-561).
