OBITUARY:
MRS. C. N. LOVEJOY
DIED LAST NIGHT
Passed Away at the Home of Her Son From General Breakdown.
Mrs. Caroline N. Lovejoy, a resident of Hillsdale for many years died last evening about 5:30 at the home of her son, W. C. Lovejoy, 32 Railroad street, aged 81 years, 11 months and 7 days. For several years she has been in poor health, her death being due largely to old age.
Mrs. Lovejoy was formerly Caroline Fields and she was born April 18, 1830, in New York state. The old home was at Cedar Springs, Mich., and her husband was buried there. Mr. Lovejoy is an only son, but there are two grandsons, Owen and Guy Lovejoy.
Funeral services will be held at the house this afternoon at 4:00 o'clock, Rev. C. S. Wheeler officiating, and Mrs. Roby and Mrs. Gier singing. Tomorrow morning the remains will be taken to Cedar Springs, for interment beside the husband.
