Mrs. Coy dies in her home
Mrs. Flossie Marie Coy, age 81 of 710 S. Pleasant Street, Edinburg, died Saturday morning in her home. She was a native of Nineveh, born there May 2, 1890.
In 1909 she was married to Wilbur Coy. He died in 1951.
Sons and daughters surviving are Kenneth Coy of Whiteland, Virgil Coy of Hope, Orville Coy of Trafalgar, Estal Coy of Kentucky, Mrs. Pauline Burtis of Columbus and Mrs. Ardith Tallsworth of Illinois. A sister, Mrs. Effie Hupp of Illinois, 20 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren also survive.
Two sons and one daughter are deceased. Mrs. Coy was a member of the Edinburg Christian Church.
Funeral services are 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Morrison-Eskew Funeral Home with Rev. Ora Davis officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home any time.

FUNERAL SERVICE FOR MRS. COY WAS YESTERDAY
Funeral services were conducted by the Reverend Ora Davis Tuesday at 1:30 P.M. at Morrison-Eskew Funeral Home in Edinburg for Mrs. Flossie Marie Coy, 81, who died Saturday at her home at 710 South Pleasant Street. She had been marketing the day before her death.
Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery with grandsons servicing as pallbearers, Wayne Coy, Keith Coy, Glen Coy, Gary Coy, Dale Coy, Mike Coy, Wayne Bula, and Karl Coy.
Mrs. Coy was born May 2, 1890, Nineveh the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. James Wray. Her husband, J. Wilbur Coy, died in April, 1951.
Surviving Mrs. Coy are two daughters, Mrs. Russell Burtis of Columbus and Mrs. Roscoe Tallsworth of Armstrong, Illinois; four sons, Virgil Coy of Hope, Orville Coy of Trafalgar, Kenneth Coy of Whiteland, and Estal Coy of Albany, Kentucky. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Effie Hupp of Hammond, Illinois, 20 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
