He is preceded in death by, his parents, ten siblings, Lewis Barnhart, Ceola Bock, Wade Barnhart, Mary Wiles, Wilson Barnhart, Wilburn Barnhart, Willard Barnhart, Wilfred Barnhart, Luther Barnhart and Billy Paul Barnhart and two nephews, Rusty Barnhart and Dowl Barnhart.
He is survived by, his wife, Flora L. (nee Vossenkemper) Barnhart, of Saint Peters, Missouri. Married on July 14, 1973.
fifteen (15) nieces and nephews, Dennis Barnhart, Sandra Komrska, Janey Bock, Sue Bock, Phyllis Shank, Shelby Barnhart, Billy Barnhart, Earlene Luther, Connie Bryant, Lois Winans, Bruce Barnhart, Brenda Barnhart, Don Barnhart, Paul Wiles and Betty Doyel,
and many other family and friends.
As a child Roscoe attended Meta Ricker Memorial Nazarene Church in Meta, Missouri with his family. He moved to Saint Louis, at the age of 17, from his family farm in Meta, Missouri. Roscoe worked odd jobs, until he worked at Granite City Steel up until entering the Military. Roscoe was a retiree from McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft and was a member of the Machinists Local #637 and American Legion. Roscoe enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing sports. He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 18, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. until time of Service at 12:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 6300 Hwy 30, Cedar Hill, Missouri 63016. Reverend Janey Bock will be officiating all services. Memorial donations may be made to the Alz.
