Norma Fitch Field, 68, a former resident of Boonville, died Sept. 24. 1982, at her home in Englewood, Florida, where she has resided since 1974.
Born in Boonville, May 21, 1914, she was the daughter of Eugene E. and Matie Rogers Fitch.
Mrs. Field was a member of the D.A.R. and the United Methodist Women.
She married John W. Field, Dec. 21, 1938 at the First Presbyterian Church in Boonville.
A graduate of Boonville High School, Boonville Training Class and Syracuse University, she taught schools in the Boonville area and Fairfax County Virginia. She was an intelligence analyst with the Dept. of the Army at the time she retired,
Surviving besides her husband, John W. Field, are one son, John W. Field, Jr., Fairfax, VA; a daughter, Nancy Oudbeusden, Sioux City, IA; a brother, Ellsworth Fitch, of Boonville and two granddaughters.
Cremation and burial followed by Memorial Service at a later date will be held in Englewood, FL. Boonville Herald, September 29, 1982

She married John Weeks Field in December 1938 in Boonville, New York. They had two children, Nancy Fitch Field and John Weeks Field Jr., during their marriage. She and her husband traveled the world and lived for years in Japan. She died of pancreatic cancer on September 24, 1982, in Englewood, Florida, at the age of 68, and was buried in Boonville, New York.
