On April 17, 1899 she married James Carlin and had 6 children, Margaret, Mary, James, Frank, George and Andrew who died in infancy.
Her husband left her when her youngest child was 18 months and she was left to raise them on her own. He was sent to a Asylum for Alcoholics in Knoxville, IA where he spent 2 years after that his where abouts is unknown.
She was my great-grand mother and I believe she had a very hard life. My grandmother (Margaret)loved her very much so I know she had to have been a very special lady.
