Mary worked for the Jefferson Co. School System in Louisville, KY and retired from the Sumner Co. School System in Gallatin, TN with over 27 years of service. She later retired from Kroger in Gallatin. She had many interests that include reading and crossword puzzles and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat and NASCAR fan.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands: Lowell Pile and Willard Hart.
Mary took great pride and joy in her four children, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren who survive. They are Teri Pile Augenstein and husband John, Keith Pile and wife Janene, Michael Pile and wife Michelle and Glenda Hart. brother Rev. Don Bruington and sisters Phyllis Flood and Nancy Wheatley.
Private graveside services will be held at Freedom Cumberland Presbyterian Church Cemetery under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home.
