Sadly just a couple years after this census Clarence became and orphin. His is father and two sisters: Lillie and Bessie all died in 1911 and then their mother died in 1912. His father and sisters are buried in the Cleveland Cemetery, Klickitat County, WA and his mother is buried in Los Angeles, California
Orville Clarence Barrett, as an orphan, he lived in Dot,
Klickitat County, Washington on Sept 12, 1918 when he registered for the War Draft. He stated was 18 years and old born "November 5, 1899 this date matches the 1910 Census when he lived with his parents but his headstone states he was born Oct 1900. According to his war draft He was Short in height, with Blue Eyes and brown hair. He worked as a sheep herder for O.L. Woods and his nearest relative is (his brother) Arthur Barrett who also lived in Dot, WA.

CLARENCE BARRETT
Graveside services for Clarence Orville Barrett, 67, were held Tuesday, Sept. 10, at the Centerville Cemetery in Centerville, Wash. Mr. Barrett died Sept. 4 at his home at the Coral Motel in Hood River.
A resident of Hood River for three years, he was employed as a general laborer.
Survivors include three brothers, Arthur of Klickitat, Wash., Lloyd of Hoquiam, Wash. and Walter, and two sisters, Mrs. Louella Ritzshke of Centerville, Wash., and Mrs. Delbert Smeltzer of The Dalles.
