----Along with her husband Jacob Grant Barrett, Her girls Lillie and Bessie died April 1911, she survived but suffered complications of the flu. Story has She was sent from Washington to California in order to save her life. Her husband and several of her children already gone and her surviving children staying with relatives at the time of her journey. Sadly she did not make it to her final destination and had to stop in Los Angeles for hospitalization.
