A 1953 graduate of Ada High School in Ada, Minnesota, she continued her education at Saint Olaf College in Northfield majoring in nursing in 1957. Her professional career covered all aspects of nursing, including teaching nursing at a two-year program in Fergus Falls of which she was director. She enjoyed taking numerous trips with her family to Anna Maria Island on Florida's Gulf Coast and was considered to be caring and nurturing throughout her life. She died peacefully at NC Little Hospice and is survived by her daughter Pam (Dave) Hamel, grandchildren Katie and Andy Hamel, stepchildren Greg Warner, Mary (Jim) Lindquist and Nancy (Mike) Myers, stepgrandchildren Anne (Renn) Nastor, Scott, Jack Warner, Ben Stout and Laura and Aaron Myers, great-grandchildren Brenna and Reese Nastor, sister-in-law Cindy Jensen, mother Helen Jensen, sisters JoAnn (Bruce) Viker, Pat Habeck and Pam (Orville) Dukleth and a large extended family. In addition to Bob, she was preceded in death by second husband Bo Warner, father Carl, brother Van, niece Kristine and stepson Mark.
